DuckSocial explores how playful, lightweight product design can help people connect naturally around shared places and activities. It combines social product thinking, location-aware experiences, trust and safety considerations and a distinctive visual identity.

About DuckSocial
At the pilot stage, DuckSocial turns the first move into a small, playful signal: you Quack at someone, they Quack back and the first contact is made without a heavy introduction.
The experiment currently lives inside LimmatBuddy by the Limmat in Zürich and AareBuddy by the Aare in Bern. It starts at the water and is designed to grow to more apps, places and ways for people to connect.
